Yes, your customers send an SMS containing your opt-in category codes and are automatically added to the correct category.

Customers opt-in by sending an SMS text message starting with ALERT followed by your category codes.

How do our customers opt-out

Customers opt-out by sending an SMS text message starting with STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE.

What are categories and category codes?

Categories are chosen by you, for example, "Whats On" and "Events". Category codes are any of A-Z and 0-9, for example, A,B,C and D.
